Anti-Bullying & E-Safety

Students in all year groups will be given online safety information and an awareness of types of bullying.

As part of this, all students will know where to access e-safety resources and report abuse in the e-Safety section of the school’s Sharepoint.

As a parent/carer, you can view or download the following guides:

  • RM Education – E-safety: A parent’s guide.
  • e-Safety factsheet for parents.
  • InternetMatters.org – Helping Parents keep their children safe online.

Community Support

If you have a child aged 13-19 they have the opportunity to represent their school on the Barking and Dagenham (BAD) Youth Forum.  The Youth Forum is a great way for them to make improvements to their local community by running campaigns and raising awareness of issues facing young people, getting the opportunity to speak to local councillors, and their local MP, as well as meeting new people and gaining new skills along the way. It’s also a great addition to a personal statement for university applications, apprenticeships and jobs.
