If you have a child aged 13-19 they have the opportunity to represent their school on the Barking and Dagenham (BAD) Youth Forum.  The Youth Forum is a great way for them to make improvements to their local community by running campaigns and raising awareness of issues facing young people, getting the opportunity to speak to local councillors, and their local MP, as well as meeting new people and gaining new skills along the way. It’s also a great addition to a personal statement for university applications, apprenticeships and jobs.

It offers guidance on lots of different money worries. For example, it can help with utility costs, emergency support or family care advice.
